Athens, Ancient Olympia & South Peloponnese

Day 1: Athens – Corinth Canal – Ancient Corinth – Olympia
Begin your adventure in Athens and drive to the Corinth Canal, where the Aegean meets the Ionian. Stop at Ancient Corinth, home to the Temple of Apollo and a rich archaeological site including most of the ancient city. Continue to Ancient Olympia the birthplace of the Olympic Games for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Olympia – Ancient Messini
In the morning visit the renowned archaeological site of Olympia on our taxi tour of the Peloponnese, explore the ancient stadium, the temple of Zeus & the temple of Hera and see artifacts from Greece’s most famous athletic event in the museum of Olympia. Afterward we continue to Messini where we stay overnight.

Day 3: Messini – Kalamata
Start your day with a visit to the Messini site, an ancient site in the south Peloponnese known for its well-preserved ruins and fascinating history, you can see the stadium, the ancient theatre and Messene's great walls. Next we head to Kalamata, famous for its olives, beautiful coastal views and vibrant life and spend the night.

Day 4: Areopolis
Next day we continue to Areopolis, the gateway to the Mani Peninsula, and enjoy the charm of this traditional town with stone-built houses, explore the local cousine and learn about the history of Mani, sometimes as rough as it's gorgeous terrain and spend your night here.

Day 5: Areopolis – Diros Caves – Vathia Village – Gerolimenas
Explore the stunning Diros Caves, a remarkable network of underground lakes and chambers. Afterward, visit the picturesque Vathia Village, known for its stone towers, and the coastal village of Gerolimenas. Return to Areopolis for another overnight stay.

Day 6: Areopolis – Athens
On your final day we make a stop in Sparta, home of the legendary Spartans, before returning to Athens and completing your 6-day tour through Greece’s historic and natural wonders.
